Sunday Song - Election Special

The polling reports are slowly showing a last minute conservative surge. Could it be, after three fairly dismal tv appearances, that David Cameron is set to claim the keys to Downing Street on Thursday?

I don't know but what I do know is this weeks Sunday song sums up the last week of election campaigns very well.

Whatever your political colour get engaged this week cause thursday is D-day!

Take Care Y'All

  1. To me this feels like a desperate time. None of the options are magic but I can't see health care and education improving in state system under Tories. Nor can I see the problem of poor housing or poverty being tackled by that crowd.

Furthermore a growth of a religious right presents a problem as well. The likes of you and me need to be part of countering that one.

I think new labour with Iraq and its failure to stand against extreme wealth have opened the ground for the Tories.

I face an increasing dilemna. I favour the Green Party but this seat has a 2,500 Tory majority over Lib Dems. Do I vote tactically?

Finally I know full well that Cameron will not allow a democratic voting system and he may neuter union donations to Labour leaving a shocking situation in which democracy is the rich man's possession

All of this says to me forget the hanshakes when the results come in. the path of resistance must be trod.
