Love, Tears & Theology

With a headline like that only one thing can be on my mind - that's right - Neighbours! This 20th anniversary has made it this far and we saw the horrific explosion last night of the airoplane. This was a horrendous event with the usual low budget effects with added cheese that makes Neighbours "oh so special". Indeed the classic moment was the "Titanic esque" clinging to the raft by Susan Kenneday..sorry Smith! That said, todays reached a whole new level where we had tears, laughter, stress, love and theology. I am not going to fully reveal what happens as the expected is what tends to spoil neighbours. Instead mearly to suggest you all watch and enjoy neighbours as it tackles religion on a day to day level, from a christian perspective, on a raterh regular basis and it is most enjoyable! Since it's past 9pm

Time for a slightly blue joke, tahttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifken from Richard Hall's Blog who in turn took it from The Independant. A man walked into the lingerie department of a major department store and shyly approached one of the staff. “Excuse me,” he said, “I’d like to buy a bra for my wife.” “What type of bra?” asked the saleswoman. “Type?” asked the man. “You mean there is more than one type of bra?” “Of course!” exclaimed the saleswoman. “Look around.” And she pointed to a sea of bras in every shape, size, colour and material imaginable. “But actually,” she continued, “there are really only four types to choose from.” Relieved, the man enquired about the four types. The saleswoman explained: “There are Catholic, Methodist, Presbyterian and Anglican types.” Befuddled, the man asked about the differences between them. The saleswoman replied: “It is quite simple, really. The Catholic type supports the masses; the Methodist type lifts the fallen; the Presbyterian type keeps them upright and straight; and the Anglican type makes mountains out of molehills.” The worrying thing is that it isn't completely wrong either! Fathers 4 Justice or Mi5?

So then Fathers 4 Justice to cease as a campaigning group. In the short time they have been in existance they have managed to change the entire agenda that family rights are viewed in the media. After a very pro-female bias the media begin to look at it from a mans perspective in a positive light. This was a very major step forward as it began to level it out to a "which parent is best" discussion. That said the very nature by which this very visual group is to cease stinks. It really makes me think that they have been infultrated by Mi5, ala the work during the Miners Strike which subverted the National Union of Miners during the aforemention dispute to ensure that the state won out. The fact the government refuses to comment on the Fathers4Justices comments when they would usualy be rejoicing when a pain in the Btm leaves I do begin to wonder. So a good day to bury bad news - proberbly. I shall look forward to the papers tommorow and see what horrors are placed in page 10.... Take Care Y'All john

There is no news

Hello Blogging folk. I am struggling to blog at the moment due to a form of mental writes block. This is not due to my inner sanity or anything, but due to the blogger attachment to Firefox no longer working on the newer firefox so to blog as I read a wibsite is gone as it links to the pages that inspire the thoughts. That said, I am in the process of writing up some thoughts on the CofE's stuff about women bishops. But i need to read teh report first rather than just work off what the media feeds me. Oh I haven't seen CBB in a few days either. times are hard ;P That said, a quick tale of devine intervention...of which I am not that great a beliver always.... 1) Johns room in london was an absolute disgrace 2) John had his wallett stolen, so no money from wednesday of last week 3) John left his computer charger at worker on the friday of last week thus I had no distractions or anything and as if by magic 4) Johns room, indeed his house was tidy by Monday!
