Time to Slob out!
Well Kids get yourself ready - stock up the fridge, lodge away the kiddies/pets and get prepared for an evening of vegetation. Tonight is a quality night of television 9pm - BBC One- Have I Got News for You. One of the best satyrical programmes in the mainstream media (it's precurser - the News Quiz on the Radio is even better) and always knows how to take a decent pop at folks whilst all the while supporting no one. 9.30pm - BBC One - The Smith & Jones Sketchbook. Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones are back repeating some of their very famous and amusing sketches from their 1980s/90s sketch show. This is not new material, well there is some new linkage material, but in true BBC form it is a repackaged repeat but an enjoyable one I suspect. 10pm - Ch 4 - My Name is Earl. This is one of the most important importants. This is for the simple reason that it is hilariously funny. I don't know whether it is the slapstick farce of it that makes it but its good. The premise is that Earl realises about Good n Bad karma. This realisation is coupled with the thought that all he has spent his life doing is bad karma so he needs to undo all that to bring some good karma into his life. He goes back, faces those he has wronged and does the opposite - makes it right. Very good television well after that you can do what you want cause I'll be snoozing. take care y'all John
